Ghanaian comedian and musician, Funny Face has been remanded into police custody after his first court appearance. The comedian on Sunday, 24th March was involved in an accident at Kasoa, Kakraba Junction that injured 5 pedestrians.

He was subsequently arrested and arraigned before the Kasoa Akweley District Court. However, after his first appearance, he was remanded.

A relative of the comedian debunked claims that the accident claimed the lives of some 3 pedestrians as speculated on social media. He rather confirmed that some of the victims sustained various injuries.
So far, one of the victims has been in a coma since the accident while the other three are receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma Centre.
Funny Face will be behind bars for two weeks.
