The Board Chair of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Keli Gadzekpo has resigned, Citi News reports.

He reportedly resigned over personal reasons in the late hours of Tuesday, March 26.
Keli Gadzekpo was appointed to the Board in 2017 by the former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, with a strategic mandate to enhance energy sufficiency.
Gadzekpo, a businessperson with a wealth of experience, has played a key role in establishing numerous enterprises, most notably the Databank Group of Companies, comprising Databank Asset Management Services and Databank Epack Investment Fund Ltd with over twenty years of involvement in the field of investment banking.

Keli Gadzekpo attended Achimota School before obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the USA. Additionally, he is a Mason Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he earned a master’s degree in Public Administration.
He currently serves as the Board Chairman for Enterprise Group.
Mr. Gadzekpo also holds the position of Chairman at the Databank Foundation, the corporate social responsibility division of the Databank Group.
