During the Eastern Regional Market Tour, the former Trade and Industry Minister engaged with market women across seven prominent markets in the region, including Nsawam, Adweso, Asamankese, Kade, Akwatia, Suhum, and Koforidua.

Mr. Kyerematen encountered a vibrant crowd of enthusiastic traders at the Nsawam market, marking the initial stop of his tour.

He emphasized that the retail market infrastructure aims to relocate traders from the streets to more suitable marketplaces, thereby reducing the risks associated with roadside vending.
