Black Stars: Mohammed Kudus Will Not Play In The Nigeria and Uganda Friendlies

Ghana star boy Mohammed Kudus has been ruled out from Otto Addo’s 26-man squad for the upcoming friendlies with Nigeria and Uganda due to a shoulder injury.

The attacking midfielder was initially named by the newly appointed head coach Otto Addo’s squad for the friendlies but has had to pull out.

The 23-year-old played full-time for West Ham United in their 1-1 last Premier League home draw against Aston Villa on Sunday, Match 17.

Following the international break, Kudus was not named as one of the players to travel on West Ham’s website and hence will stay in London to recover.

The Black Stars of Ghana will face their rivals the Super Eagles of Nigeria on March 22, 2024, at Stade de Marrakech in Morocco.

After the Ghana-Nigeria match, Ghana will also play Uganda on March 26, at the Stade Grande Marrakech in Marrakech, Morocco.
