Tragic Discovery: General Hospital Actress Robyn Bernard Found Dead in Open Field

The General Hospital community mourns the loss of one of its beloved members as actress Robyn Bernard was tragically discovered deceased in an open field in San Jacinto, California.

Bernard, 64, was found behind a business in San Jacinto on March 12, 2024, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a call for a death investigation at approximately 3:57 a.m. that day and discovered Bernard’s body at the scene.

While the specific cause of death has yet to be disclosed, authorities have stated that there is no evidence of foul play, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Bernard graced the screens of General Hospital from 1984 to 1990 before expanding her acting repertoire to include French films such as Kings for a Day and the Oscar-nominated Betty Blue.

Throughout her career, Bernard showcased her talent in various movies and television shows, including Roselyne and the Lions, Maigret, Tour of Duty, The Facts of Life, Whiz Kids, Simon & Simon, and Diva.

Her most recent credit was for the 2002 drama Voices From the High School.
