Gandini’s illustrious career was defined by his groundbreaking work with Lamborghini, where he crafted timeless masterpieces such as the Miura, Countach, and Diablo.

His influence extended beyond Lamborghini, as he also lent his creative genius to other legendary vehicles including the Lancia Stratos, Bugatti EB110, and Fiat X1/9.

Born in Turin, Gandini’s tenure at Italian design house Bertone from the 1960s to 1980 saw him leaving an indelible mark on the automotive world.

His design prowess gave birth to classics like the Alfa Romeo Montreal, Maserati Khamsin, original Volkswagen Polo, and Ferrari 308 GT4.

Venturing beyond Bertone, Gandini collaborated with various automakers, leaving his mark on models such as the BMW 5 Series, Lamborghini Espada, and Renault 5 Turbo hatchback.

Notably, his work transcended traditional automotive design, as evidenced by his contributions to industrial and furniture design.
