According to police reports shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, Strain was last seen by friends on Friday, March 8, 2024, night at a Broadway bar in Nashville.
Descriptions provided indicate Strain is 6’5″ tall, with a thin build, blue eyes, and light brown hair. The University of Missouri confirmed in a news release on Monday, March 11 2024, that Strain was in Nashville to attend a “private event.”
The circumstances surrounding his disappearance have raised concerns, as Strain was reportedly out with a group of Delta Chi fraternity brothers when he was ejected from Luke Bryan’s bar around 10 p.m. that Friday.
According to a police report, Strain’s friends lost sight of him after they were separated, despite attempts to locate him using Snapchat’s location feature. Calls to Strain went unanswered, and he was not found at their hotel on Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, mere blocks from the bar.

Video surveillance footage released by Metro Nashville police shows Strain crossing 1st Avenue North to Gay Street. In the footage, Strain appears disoriented, stumbling occasionally as he walks.
Efforts to locate him have intensified, with authorities urging anyone with information to contact Metro Police at 615-862-8600 or the MU Police Department at 573-882-7201.
