Dr. Ato Forson lamented that despite the immense goodwill and resources available to the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government, they have fallen short and are on track to be remembered as one of the least successful administrations in Ghana’s history.
He highlighted the gap between the government’s promises of transformation and the harsh reality faced by the nation, labeling their performance as a monumental failure.

The Minority Leader criticized the chaos caused by the administration and pointed out that the economic situation in Ghana does not align with the optimistic picture painted by President Akufo-Addo during his SONA address.
He emphasized that it is crucial for Parliament to accurately reflect the true state of the nation, rather than allowing a glossy facade to overshadow the challenges faced by Ghanaians.
In his impassioned speech, Dr. Ato Forson called out President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia for seemingly ignoring the mess they have created, likening their approach to burying their heads in the sand like ostriches.
He urged for a more realistic assessment of Ghana’s current situation and emphasized the importance of holding leaders accountable for their promises and actions.
