Prophet Nigel Gaisie has stood by his prophecy regarding the late Deputy Minister of Finance, John Kumah, despite facing criticism for predicting his demise. In a Facebook live video on Monday, March 11, Prophet Nigel addressed the backlash, dismissing accusations of womanizing and attributing them to political agendas aimed at discrediting prophets.

He emphasized his busy schedule and unwavering confidence in his prophetic abilities, urging people not to underestimate prophetic messages.

Responding to Apostle Lilian Kumah’s dismissal of his prophecy due to prior knowledge of John Kumah’s health condition, Prophet Nigel maintained his stance, asserting that he foresaw the tragic event.

The controversy surrounding the prophecy has sparked debate and scrutiny, especially after John Kumah’s passing on March 7, leaving behind a grieving family.

John Kumah was survived by his wife, Lilian Kumah, and their six children. Lilian Kumah said in an interview on Asaase Radio that Prophet Nigel Gaisie was like a brother to her and the family.

She said in her own words, “Nigel Gaisie knew very well that my husband was terminally ill as far back as August 2023 but regardless of that, he stood on his altar on 31st December 2023 to lie through his supposed prophesy that a Ghanaian deputy minister will die in the year 2024. “What does he want to achieve through these fake prophesies?”
