Boniface’s imminent return holds great significance for Leverkusen, as he has been their top scorer this season with an impressive record of 16 goals and eight assists in 23 games.

His absence was deeply felt, especially after missing out on representing Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations. Leverkusen eagerly anticipates reintegrating the talented 23-year-old into the squad as they strive for success in the Bundesliga, where they currently lead the title race with a 10-point advantage.
