Charles Chibueze Chukwu, also known as Crayon, the talented artist behind the hit song ‘Ngozi,’ recently faced criticism for tattooing the name ‘Evelyn’ on his arm.

This sparked controversy as he had just released a love song featuring Ayra Starr where he affectionately sang to a character named Ngozi.

Despite the apparent contradiction, Crayon took to Instagram to set the record straight, explaining that ‘Evelyn’ is actually his mother’s name. He shared that he chose to honor his mother by getting her name permanently inked on International Women’s Day, considering her his hero.

The gesture deeply touched his mother, who was elated upon seeing the tattoo and expressed her immense love for him.
