Since 2023, American politician, lawyer, and military commander Jeffrey Neale Jackson has represented North Carolina’s 14th congressional district in Congress. From 2014 until 2022, he served as the Democratic Party’s senator for North Carolina’s 37th district.

In 2002, Jackson enlisted in the US Army Reserve. He was employed by Womble Bond Dickinson in Charlotte as a business litigator. Jackson is still a major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the North Carolina Army National Guard.
Jackson was a frequent user of TikTok, thus many users were surprised when he voted in support of the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act in March 2024.

Jackson is married to Marisa Jackson and lives in Charlotte. He has two sons and a daughter, including his stepson from Marisa’s previous relationship.
