Fleetwood Mac, the iconic band formed in 1967, has seen significant changes over the years. Unfortunately, none of the original members are currently part of the band’s lineup.

Mick Fleetwood, the drummer, stands as the sole surviving member from the original formation, although he joined shortly after its inception.

Tragically, bassist John McVie, who joined soon after the band’s formation, passed away in 2014, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable basslines.

Guitarists Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer departed the band in the late 1960s and early 1970s, respectively, each leaving an indelible mark on the band’s early sound.

Another guitarist, Danny Kirwan, a member of the early lineup, left in 1972, further altering the band’s trajectory.

Despite these changes, Fleetwood Mac continues to captivate audiences worldwide with their tours and recordings, albeit with a different lineup.

However, the original members’ influence cannot be understated. Their contributions to albums like “Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac” and “Then Play On” remain cherished by fans, serving as a testament to their enduring legacy and the foundation upon which Fleetwood Mac’s sound was built.
