Diagnosed in August 2018, Mac underwent numerous surgeries, enduring five spinal operations between 2018 and 2020, which sadly rendered him paralyzed from the chest down.
Despite his physical challenges, Mac remained resilient, actively involved in charitable endeavors such as the Gary Sinise Foundation, dedicated to supporting veterans and their families.
