What happened to Eddie Driscoll?

Eddie Driscoll, a well-known actor, has passed away at the age of 60 after fighting stomach cancer.

He was famous for his roles in popular TV shows like “Mad Men,” “Entourage,” “This Is Us,” and “Sex and the City.” Driscoll died in Los Angeles on December 15 due to a condition called saddle pulmonary embolism, according to his friend Jimmy Palumbo.

Born in New York in 1963, Driscoll learned acting at the University of Miami and also trained at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre in Florida. He had the opportunity to study alongside big names like Reynolds and Carol Burnett.

Driscoll appeared in several projects with Reynolds, including movies like “Physical Evidence” and “Breaking In,” and TV shows like “B.L. Stryker” and “Evening Shade.”

He also had roles in many hit TV shows such as “Desperate Housewives,” “Days of Our Lives,” “Heroes,” “24,” “CSI: Miami,” and “The King of Queens.”

In addition to his TV work, Driscoll was in movies like “Lansky,” “Boat Trip,” “Pavement,” and “Cellular.”

On stage, he played the character Angelo “Gyp” DeCarlo in “Jersey Boys” during its tour on the West Coast.

For over twenty years, Driscoll also worked as a host at Dimples, a bar in Burbank, California, which has since closed down.
