Robin Windsor: Strictly Come Dancing dancer dies aged 44
Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor has died at the age of 44.
The dancer worked on the star-studded BBC competition from 2010 to 2013 and performed with celebrity contestants Patsy Kensit, Anita Dobson, Lisa Riley, and Deborah Meaden. Windsor’s death was announced on the official Facebook account of Burn The Floor, the dance company he co-founded.

Windsor appeared on Strictly between 2010 and 2015 and was paired with celebrities including actors Patsy Kensit, Anita Dobson, and Lisa Riley and Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden. He also danced with Great British Bake Off host Alison Hammond in the 2015 Christmas special and with Susanna Reid in 2011’s Children In Need special.
A statement from the dance show Burn The Floor, in which Windsor appeared for many years, said: “The Burn The Floor family has lost one of its founding members, Robin “Bobby” Windsor, who has tragically passed away.
