The American football wide receiver Blake Proehl is also a music recording artist.
A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, United States, Proehl earned his high school education at Providence High School where he played for the school football team and caught 52 passes for 1,016 yards and 12 touchdowns and was named first-team All-SoMeck 8 Conference in his senior year.
After high school, Proehl committed to East Carolina University where he played four-year collegiate football for the East Carolina Pirates.
After going undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, Proehl signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent.

However, Proehl was waived on August 16, 2021, and placed on injured reserve.
On August 23, 2022, Proehl was placed on the reserve/PUP list to start the season.
He was activated on October 17, then waived and re-signed to the practice squad.
Proehl signed a reserve/future contract on January 16, 2023, but was waived again on August 29, 2023.
