From his tenure at Northern Kentucky University to his role as head coach at Turpin High, Don Jr. demonstrated a dedication to the sport and a commitment to nurturing young talent, earning recognition as Coach of the Year for his outstanding leadership.

While Don Jr.’s achievements in the baseball world garnered attention, Gullett’s two daughters, Tracey and Angela, remained out of the public eye, choosing to lead more private lives. Tragically, Don Gullett’s passing on February 14, 2024, marked the end of an era for the Gullett family, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and familial bonds that will endure for generations to come.
