Sam Hargrave is not the sole stunt coordinator for all Marvel films, but has left a great mark on several major Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbusters.

From “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” to “Avengers: Endgame,” Hargrave has collaborated closely with the Russo brothers, directing stunts that are praised for their gritty realism and intense hand-to-hand combat sequences.
Unlike relying heavily on CGI, Hargrave opts for practical effects, making the action feel more grounded and immersive.

It’s worth mentioning that each Marvel project typically has its own dedicated stunt coordinator. For instance, Thomas Robinson Harper and Molly McOwen helmed the stunts for the recent Ms. Marvel series and The Marvels, respectively.
While Hargrave’s contributions to MCU’s action choreography are significant, it’s important to acknowledge the collaborative nature of Marvel stunts.
The title of “the” stunt coordinator doesn’t belong to one person but is shared among many talented individuals working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring these electrifying sequences to life.
