Raised by his mother, LeAnne, who fostered his creative spirit, Sam discovered his passion for acting during high school plays.

After graduating from Otterbein College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, he embarked on a unique journey, working in a New York casting office to gain industry insights.

His career took flight with his first credited role in the 2001 film “Inhale.” Along the way, he found love on a film set, marrying actress Amber Marie Mellott in 2007. Together, they have four children.
