Foster’s professional odyssey began humbly as a sales associate, but her passion for fashion and a keen eye for style propelled her into management positions. Her tenure at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) saw her behind the scenes at prestigious events like Giorgio Armani fashion shows, where she honed her skills as a dresser. This early experience laid the foundation for a stellar career in styling, earning her recognition from television networks like MTV, E!, and Access Hollywood, as well as features in leading publications such as InStyle, People, and Essence.

Beyond the Red Carpet

While Foster’s prowess as a stylist is undeniable, her commitment to philanthropy truly sets her apart. Alongside her professional endeavours, she co-founded the ‘Oakland Natives Giveback nonprofit organization in 2007. This initiative, born out of a shared vision for their community, aimed to uplift underprivileged children through events like the Attend and Achieve Back to School Rally, providing essentials like backpacks, school supplies, and shoes.

In 2009, Foster established The Lost Ones Foundation, dedicated to empowering at-risk adolescent girls aged 12-18. This commitment to supporting vulnerable youth further manifested in Kile’s World Foundation, launched in honour of her son Kile’s 12th birthday in 2013. With a mission to foster creativity through arts education, this foundation aims to equip children with the tools they need to explore their potential fully.

A Journey through Television and Animation

Foster’s philanthropic spirit and vibrant personality caught the attention of television audiences when she joined the cast of VH1’s spinoff, Atlanta Exes, in 2014. Alongside her ventures in reality TV, she embarked on a creative endeavour close to her heart.

In collaboration with her sons, Foster launched The Odd Life of Kile Lyles, a 3-D animated series that began development in 2013. This heartwarming tale follows the adventures of a spirited 11-year-old, offering a glimpse into the imagination and creativity that define Foster’s approach to life.
