Patrick L. Willis is a former American professional football player who spent his whole eight-year career as a linebacker for the National Football League’s San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers chose him in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft.

Willis went to Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School, where he was a two-time All-State pick, Regional Most Valuable Player, and West Tennessee Player of the Year. He received four letters in football and basketball, as well as three in baseball.
Willis was selected for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on February 8, 2024, in his fifth year of eligibility and second year as a finalist.
