Billy Strings is an award-winning American guitarist and bluegrass musician. Strings is known not only for his instrumental prowess but also as one of acoustic music’s most expressive vocalists.

Billy Strings, the renowned bluegrass musician, tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Ally Dale, on September 9, 2023. The joyous occasion marked the culmination of a decade-long relationship that began in 2014.

During his wedding, an all-star jam took place, featuring some incredible musicians: Trey Anastasio: The lead guitarist and vocalist of the iconic band Phish; Les Claypool: The bassist and frontman of the legendary rock band Primus; Bob Weir: A founding member of the Grateful Dead.

At Grey Fox Festival, Billy Strings served as their very first artist in residence in 2017 and 2018. In February 2017, Strings was named one of the six new rising stars of bluegrass by Acoustic Guitar.
