Initially, Keem honed his skills by producing for other artists signed to Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), Kendrick’s label.
Their first official collaboration came with the track “Family Ties” in 2020, followed by Keem’s appearances on Kendrick’s album “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.”
