The Argentine singer-songwriter Nicki Nicole rose to fame with the release of her first single “Wapo Traketero” in April 2019.
However, Nicole’s collaboration with Bizarrap, a popular Argentine producer, on the thirteenth release of his “Music Sessions” in August 2019 brought her to the mainstream.
After her collaboration with Bizarrap went viral, Nicole released her second single, titled “Años Luz” the following month.

Nicole released her first-ever album titled Recuerdos on November 8, 2019.
After releasing her single “Colocao”, which peaked at number six on the Argentina Hot 100 and 48th in Spain, Nicole became the first Argentine woman to top the Argentina Hot 100 chart with “Mamichula” in which she featured rapper Trueno and Bizarrap.
In April 2021, Nicole’s appearance in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon received a lot of press coverage in Argentina, as she was the first Argentinean artist to perform on the show.
