Mark Mitchell Jr. is an American college basketball player who competes for the Duke Blue Devils of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Mitchell grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and attended Bishop Miege High School.

As a sophomore, he averaged 21.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 blocked shots per game. Mitchell received the DiRenna Award as the best player in the Kansas City region after averaging 18 points and six rebounds per game as Bishop Miege won the Kansas Class 4A state championship.
Mitchell began his first season at Duke as a starting forward. During his freshman season, he started 35 games and averaged 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds, shooting 46.9% from the field.

He transferred to Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas before the beginning of his senior year. Mitchell averaged 17.6 points with 6.3 rebounds per game in his only year at Sunrise Christian.
