Though his parents’ names remain undisclosed, we know his father hails from Kalemie, Democratic Republic of Congo, and his mother from Likasi, also in the DRC.

Born in Lyon, France, in 1997, Gédéon’s journey into football was inevitable. Surrounded by his family’s Congolese heritage and his brothers’ love for the sport, he began honing his skills at Olympique Lyonnais’ youth academy.

His professional career took flight with loans to AC Ajaccio and Red Star Belgrade, eventually finding a home at AC Ajaccio before moving to FC Lorient in 2022. Playing as a defender, he’s carved a niche for himself in the competitive world of football.
