The France-born-Congolese footballer Arthur Masuaku plays as a left-back for Süper Lig club Beşiktaş the DR Congo national team.
Masuaku’s football journey began in the youth setups of Lille OM.S. Fives (2001–2003), RC Lens (2003–2008), and Valenciennes (2008–2013).
After honing his skills in the Valenciennes youth team for five seasons, Masuaku received a call-up to the senior side in 2013.
His Ligue 1 debut on August 10, 2013, against Toulouse, marked the beginning of a promising career.
While showcasing his talent in the French league, Masuaku’s capabilities didn’t go unnoticed. In July 2014, he made a significant move to Greek side Olympiacos.

On August 8, 2016, he embarked on a new chapter in his career by signing a four-year contract with West Ham United for a fee of £6.2 million.
In August 2022, Masuaku ventured into Turkish football, joining Beşiktaş on a season-long loan with an option to buy in 2023.
His impactful performances during the loan spell convinced Beşiktaş to secure his services permanently.
On April 17, 2023, Masuaku completed a permanent transfer to Beşiktaş, solidifying his place in the team.
