This union was with the distinguished British banker and aristocrat Kenneth Keith, who later became known as Kenneth Keith, Baron Keith of Castleacre.

Slim Keith and Kenneth Keith’s journey in matrimony began in 1962, and their union endured until 1972. The marriage brought together the worlds of American high society and British aristocracy, creating a unique blend of cultures and traditions.

Kenneth Keith achieved significant recognition in his native Britain. In the 1969 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, he was knighted, an honor that underscored his contributions to the financial and corporate landscape.

However, Kenneth Keith’s recognition did not end with a knighthood. On February 6, 1980, he was elevated to the peerage and granted the title of Baron Keith of Castleacre, of Swaffham in the County of Norfolk.

Furthermore, he chaired Rolls-Royce after the company faced receivership and subsequent nationalization in 1971. In this capacity, Kenneth Keith contributed to the recovery of the RB211 project, showcasing his leadership and strategic acumen.
