Did Mitch Hedberg Pass Away?
On March 30, 2005, Hedberg was found dead in his room at The Westminster Hotel in Livingston, New Jersey.[1] His death was announced by Howard Stern on March 31 but was largely overlooked. As a result, some people thought it was announced on April 1, and fans believed it was an April Fools’ Day joke.

Mitch died in 2005 and was cremated. His ashes were buried with his mother after her death earlier this year.
