The Welsh professional footballer William Albert Evans popularly known as Will Evans plays as a winger and striker for EFL League Two club Newport County.
He commenced his football playing career at Shrewsbury Town youth system.
Evans also had a brief stint with the Llangedwyn village team in the Welsh fifth tier before enrolling at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
During his tenure at the college, he played for the school football team in the Cymru Premier.

After his successful collegiate career, Evans joined Bala Town in the Cymru Premier in 2020.
Following his two-season spell with Bala Town, Evans went on to with the EFL League Two club Newport County in May 2022 which marked his first professional deal.
He made his Newport debut 1–1 League Two draw against Sutton United on July 30, 2022.
Evans scored Newport’s second goal in their 4-2 FA Cup fourth-round defeat to Manchester United of the Premier League on January 28, 2024.
