From the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to the Montreal Alouettes and the Calgary Stampeders, Kelly showcased his defensive skills, earning admiration and two CFL All-Star selections.

Notably, his standout performance in 2008 with the Blue Bombers, featuring 63 tackles, two interceptions, and a sack, cemented his place in CFL history.

Yet, Kelly’s impact extended beyond the gridiron. Amid his athletic pursuits, he pursued education, earning a degree in psychology with a minor in African-American studies from the University of Arizona.
