What did Roger Rogerson do?

In 1990 he was convicted of perverting the course of justice alongside two businessmen, over $110,000 deposited by him into a bank account under a false name. He served almost four years in prison.

He was again jailed in 2005 for lying to the Police Integrity Commission and served 12 months of a five-year sentence.

Rogerson’s life of crime would continue into his 70s. In 2014 he and another former detective Glen McNamara murdered “wannabe gangster” 20-year-old student Jamie Gao at a Sydney storage shed and dumped his body at sea.
