However, it was her portrayal of Lauren in “Kinky Boots” in January 2017 that solidified her presence on Broadway. Louderman’s star continued to rise when she assumed the role of Regina George in the Tony Award-nominated musical “Mean Girls,” a character she originated during its out-of-town tryout at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C.

Her performance in “Mean Girls” earned Taylor Louderman nominations for prestigious awards, including the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, the Drama League Award, and an Outer Critics Circle Award. Despite her remarkable contributions to the production, she announced her departure from “Mean Girls” in September 2019, expressing gratitude and a readiness for new challenges.

Taylor Louderman’s talents extend beyond the Broadway stage. In March 2019, news broke that she secured a leading role in the CBS show “The Emperor of Malibu.” Additionally, she returned to The Muny’s stage in June 2019, reprising her role as Lauren in “Kinky Boots.”
