Dino De Laurentiis was the grandfather of Giada De Laurentiis. He was an Italian-American movie producer who started producing movies in his native Italy when he was 20 years old.

Giada De Laurentiis’ maternal grandfather, Dino De Laurentiis, was born in Torre Annunziata, Naples, Campania, Italy. He was the son of Rosario Pasquale Marco Aurelio De Laurentiis and Giuseppa Luisa Anastasia “Giuseppina” Salvatore. He was also the brother of producer Luigi De Laurentiis.
Giada De Laurentiis is an Italian American chef, entrepreneur, writer, and television personality best known as the host of Food Network’s program called Giada at Home.
On July 26, 2020, De Laurentiis won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Culinary Host. In 2014, Giada De Laurentiis voiced the character of Gelata in the U.S. version of the Tinker Bell special Pixie Hollow Bake Off.
