Why did Giada quit Food Network?

Giada De Laurentiis, a popular Italian-American chef, writer, and television personality, left Food Network after 20 years of being one of the network’s signature stars. She signed a deal with Amazon Studios to create and produce unscripted TV programming.

Giada De Laurentiis made several appearances as a guest judge on the third season of The Next Food Network Star, which aired in 2007.

In 2017, she launched an e-commerce platform called Giadzy.com. On June 26, 2020, De Laurentiis’ Food Network series Giada Entertains won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Culinary Series.

Giada De Laurentiis ventured into food styling and caught the attention of the Food Network after styling a feature in Food & Wine magazine in 2002.

Giada De Laurentiis’ daytime cooking show on the Food Network, Everyday Italian, premiered on April 5, 2003. De Laurentiis also started hosting Behind the Bash in October 2005. De Laurentiis appeared as a presenter at the inaugural Food Network Awards in 2007.
