Tamara Tunie stands at a height of 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 m) tall.

The American actress is known for portraying medical examiner Melinda Warner in the police drama Law & Order.
Tamara began acting in 1981 when she made her Broadway debut in Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music.
She then made an appearance as attorney Jessica Griffin in “As the World Turns”.
In the 1990s, Tamara appeared in several films and television shows, including Rising Sun, City Hall, The Peacemaker, Snake Eyes, Spirit Lost, Tribeca, Swift Justice, Feds, Chicago Hope, Sex, and the City. She played Lilian Fancy in NYPD Blue and Jessie McKenna in Swift Justice.

In 2002, she was nominated for the Independent Spirits Awards for Best Supporting Female for her role in The Caveman’s Valentine.
Tamara directed and produced the 2010 American romantic comedy “See You in September”.
Besides acting, her philanthropic activities include the Figure Skating in Harlem program, Harlem Stage/The Gatehouse, and God’s Love We Deliver.
