Both played a role in her early artistic ventures, with Gou starting piano lessons at eight.

At 14, Gou moved to London, immersing herself in fashion and culture. This love led her to study at the London College of Fashion, but fate had other plans.

A chance encounter with DJing sparked a new fire. Soon, Gou was spinning tunes in clubs, learning production, and eventually landing a coveted gig at Berlin’s iconic Berghain, becoming the first Korean woman to do so.

Gou’s career trajectory resembles her vibrant music – a seamless blend of genres and influences. Early releases like “It Makes Me Wonder” and “Six Feet From You” captured the infectious energy of Berlin’s techno scene.

But Gou isn’t confined to one box. Tracks like “Starry Night” showcase her softer, melodic side, while collaborations with artists like The Martinez Brothers push her into new sonic territories.

Today, Gou headlines major festivals like Coachella and Tomorrowland, her vibrant DJ sets captivating audiences worldwide. Despite her meteoric rise, Gou remains grounded, her Instagram posts celebrating family, friends, and her beloved dog, Guccio.
