Jonathan Kimmel is an American television and film director, writer, producer, actor, and composer.
Born November 4, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York, United States, Kimmel was educated at Arizona State University Tempe Campus.
Kimmel made his acting debut in the 2001 American television sitcom That’s My Bush! as The Gut Busters!.

His early notable television credits include Crank Yankers (2003-2007), Life with Bonnie (2004), and Drawn Together (2004-2005).
Kimmel made his film debut in the animated adventure comedy film “The Wild” which was directed by animator Steve “Spaz” Williams in 2006.
He also worked as a writer and segment director of his brother’s show Jimmy Kimmel Live from 2008 to 2018.
Kimmel executive produces, directs, and showrunner of Crank Yankers (2019-2021) as well as Generation Gap – ABC (2022).
He has been married to Carly Hirsch since 2006 and together share two children.
