The awards show honored the best in film and television from the past year. The movie “Barbie” received the most nominations with 18, while “Oppenheimer” and “Poor Things” followed closely behind with 13 nominations each. On the TV side, “The Morning Show” and “Succession” were among the most nominated shows.
The 2024 Critics Choice Awards were broadcast live on The CW network and streamed on Paramount+. The big winner of the night was Oppenheimer, the biographical drama about the physicist who led the development of the atomic bomb during World War II.
