At the age of 72, Tisa Farrow has passed away, as announced by her sister Mia Farrow on Thursday, January 11. Mia, the 78-year-old actress known for her role in “Crimes and Misdemeanors,” shared a heartfelt tribute to her late sister on social media. Tisa was the youngest among seven siblings, with three older sisters, including Mia and Prudence Farrow, and three older brothers, including Patrick Joseph Farrow.

Mia posted an old photo of her younger sister, accompanying it with an emotional message honoring Tisa. “If there is a Heaven, undoubtedly my beautiful sister Tisa is being welcomed there. She was the best of us – I have never met a more generous and loving person. She loved life & never complained. Ever,” Mia wrote. “She died unexpectedly yesterday morning. Apparently in her sleep. This is a hard time for all of us who admire and love her so deeply.”

Following in her older sister’s footsteps, Tisa pursued a career as an actress. She made her debut in 1970 with “Homer” and continued to appear in various films for a decade, concluding with her final role in 1980’s “The Last Hunter.” Notably, Tisa starred alongside Harvey Keitel in the 1978 film “Fingers” and made a cameo in Woody Allen’s “Manhattan.”
In addition to her acting career, Tisa also graced the pages of Playboy in the June 1973 issue, where she posed semi-nude for a photoshoot. During an interview for the magazine, she candidly discussed the challenges of being compared to her sister in the film industry. “I’ve learned to live with the accusation that I get movie parts only because I’m Mia Farrow’s sister,” she shared. “But those who say that don’t know what they’re talking about. People aren’t going to jam box offices to see Mia’s sister.”
