On 13 December 2023, it was revealed that Icon of the Seas will be christened by Lionel Messi. The ship departed Cadiz on 23 December 2023 for Puerto Rico, before heading to Miami, FL for her inaugural voyage.
Icon of the Seas boasts an impressive 20 decks, seven pools, nine whirlpools, and six record-breaking water slides, making it a floating paradise for the anticipated passengers.
