Fils, who began playing tennis at the tender age of 5, showcased immense talent and dedication to the sport from an early age.

Licensed at the tennis club of Saint-Michel-sur-Orge, Arthur Fils underwent training at the French National Training Center (indoor), a facility associated with the French Tennis Federation and located in close proximity to the iconic Stade Roland Garros.

In a noteworthy debut on the ATP stage, Fils entered the 2022 Rolex Paris Masters ranked No. 308. His remarkable achievement included becoming the youngest French qualifier to secure a spot in the main draw of a Masters 1000 tournament since Gaël Monfils in 2004.

Fils secured a notable victory against former top-10 player Fabio Fognini, demonstrating his prowess on the court. Despite a first-round loss to Fognini, Fils’ performance propelled him up the rankings, showcasing his potential.
