Sommore Siblings: Meet Nia Long

Sommore’s half-sister is Nia Long. Born on October 30, 1970, Nia Talita Long has made a significant impact in the realm of American cinema. Her breakthrough came with her compelling role in the iconic film “Boyz n the Hood” in 1991, which propelled her to stardom.

Nia Long’s versatility shone through as she portrayed Beullah “Lisa” Wilkes on the NBC sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” from 1991 to 1995. Her stellar performances in films like “Friday” (1995), “Love Jones” (1997), and “Soul Food” (1997) further solidified her status as a leading actress in Black cinema.
