Roger Henry Brough Whittaker, a distinguished British singer-songwriter and musician, left an indelible mark on the world of music.

In the summer of 1964, Roger Whittaker and Natalie O’Brien embarked on a lifelong journey together, exchanging vows on the 15th of August. Their union was blessed with the joy of raising a loving family, as they became the proud parents of two sons and three daughters: Emily, Lauren, Jessica, Guy, and Alexander.

This close-knit family expanded over the years, with 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren adding to the Whittaker legacy.

The collaborative spirit between Roger and Natalie extended beyond the family dynamics and into their professional lives. In 1986, they jointly authored Whittaker’s autobiography, “So Far, So Good,” offering fans and enthusiasts an intimate glimpse into the life and career of the celebrated musician.

He retired with his wife to France in 2012. He died in a hospital near Toulouse on 13 September 2023, aged 87.
