P.P Arnold Children: Meet Kodzo Samuel & Kevin Cole

P.P. Arnold has two children, they are Kodzo Samuel and Kelvin Cole.

Unfortunately, the union was marred by abuse, prompting Arnold to make the courageous decision to leave her husband and embark on a career as an Ikette. While pursuing her musical dreams, Arnold entrusted the care of her children to her mother, highlighting the sacrifices made in pursuit of her passion.

Tragedy struck Arnold’s family in the mid-1970s when her daughter, Debbie, met with a devastating car accident and passed away. The loss was a profound blow, casting a shadow over Arnold’s life and career. The pain of losing a child is a poignant chapter in Arnold’s story, underscoring the personal struggles that often accompany a life dedicated to the demanding world of music.

Despite the challenges, Arnold’s resilience and determination to forge ahead are evident in the subsequent chapters of her personal life. In a later relationship with musician Calvin “Fuzzy” Samuel, Arnold welcomed a son named Kodzo. This new chapter brought joy and renewed purpose to Arnold’s life, as Kodzo would grow up to become a talented musical director for artists like Jessie J and Jess Glynne.

Kodzo’s influence and musical prowess extended to his collaboration with his mother on her 2019 album, “The New Adventures of… P.P. Arnold,” where he is credited as a songwriter. The mother-son duo shared not only a familial bond but also a creative synergy that added depth to Arnold’s musical legacy.
