Veronica Cartwright has been married three times. Her first husband was Richard Gates, whom she married in 1968 and divorced in 1972. Her second husband was Stanley Goldstein, whom she married in 1976 and divorced in 1980.

Her third husband was Richard Compton, whom she married in 1982 and remained married to until he died in 2007. Veronica Cartwright has one child, Dakota Compton, with Richard Compton.

Veronica Cartwright is a British-born American actress best known for appearing in science fiction and horror films including Alien, The Right Stuff, and The Witches of Eastwick.

In 1963, Veronica Cartwright guest starred twice in NBC’s medical drama, The Eleventh Hour, in the episodes “The Silence of Good Men” and “My Name is Judith, I’m Lost, You See”.

Veronica Cartwright appeared in the films The Children’s Hour (1961) and Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963). She had successful film roles in Inserts (1974), and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978).

Veronica Cartwright took on the role of Sibley Gamble, a psychic on “General Hospital” in July 2019. Regarding her theatre works, Cartwright performed in Electra, Talley’s Folly, The Bat, and The Master Builder.
