Ray Davis is an American businessman who serves as the co-owner of the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball and was the co-chief executive officer and chairman for Energy Transfer Partners and chairman of Energy Transfer Equity.

In 1991, Ray Davis tried his luck as CEO of publicly traded dental supplies distributor Healthco, but the company filed for bankruptcy in 1993.

Ray Davis has donated millions of dollars to various charitable organizations, including the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
Ray Davis worked in the energy industry for forty years, until he retired as the CEO of ETP and ETE in 2007. On November 1, 2023, the Rangers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks in five games to win the 2023 World Series, giving Ray Davis his first championship.
