Dane Key parents: Who are Dane Key parents?

Dane Key, the rising star of the Kentucky Wildcats, owes much of his success to the unwavering support of his parents, Donte and Nicole Key.

His father, Donte, a former football player at the University of Kentucky, has been a guiding force in Dane’s athletic journey, currently coaching linebackers at Frederick Douglas High School.

Dane’s connection with football started close to home, playing under his father’s coaching at Frederick Douglas High School before making the leap to the Wildcats.

Donte’s experience and advice have been instrumental in shaping Dane’s prowess on the field.

Nicole, equally passionate about her son’s achievements, has been a vocal supporter. Her exuberance reached new heights in 2021 when, caught in the excitement of a Wildcats victory, she attempted to join a field celebration, resulting in a memorable incident and injuries she humorously hoped wouldn’t hinder Dane’s recruiting prospects.
