Aled Jones made his acting debut in 1990 at the Royal Theatre (Northampton), portraying the teenage Huw Morgan in How Green Was My Valley. After studying at the Royal Academy of Music and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, he transitioned into adult recording with a predominantly religious/inspirational repertoire.
In 1995, he took the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and played various theatrical roles in productions like Hard Times and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. His contributions to musical theatre solidified his standing as a versatile performer.
